A Taste of Ukraine
Join us for a unique evening of Ukrainian culture, music, singing and food.

Welland residents have been supporting our Ukrainian friends since the start of the conflict with Russia more than four years ago. Many of you will have donated clean and empty tin cans for making trench candles or medicines to send to Ukraine.
On 9th October, St James Church will play host to a unique evening of Ukrainian culture, music, singing and even a chance to sample the country’s beer and cake. Featuring a Vocal and Instrumental Bandurist Ensemble, and a polyphonic A Cappella choir directed by Galyna Grigoriadi.
All proceeds will go towards raising money for an ambulance to send to the war-torn country. Tickets will be on sale in the village shop and online at TicketSource from 9th September.
