Public meeting about Glynchbrook development

We are hosting a meeting for the public to share information about the proposed Forest of Dean local plan, especially the Glynchbrook development.

Scheduled: 10 March 2026 - 18:30 to 19:30

Public Meeting – Discussion about Forest of Dean Local Plan (especially Glynchbrook Development)

Councillors from Little Malvern and Welland Parish Council are holding a public meeting to raise awareness of the Forest of Dean District Council’s consultation on its Local Plan – in particular the proposed Glynchbrook development of 3,500 homes and 9 hectares of employment land, planned just 5.5 miles from Welland near Junction 2 of the motorway, at the south end of the Malvern hills.

Tuesday 10th March
6:30–7:30pm
Welland Parish Hall

All councillors and members of the public are very welcome to attend.

We want to be clear that we are not connected to the development in any way and have no decision-making role in it. We have simply been informed about the proposal and attended a recent briefing hosted by Malvern Hills District Council. We are now keen to share the information we’ve received, outline Welland Parish Council’s intended response to date, and encourage residents to submit their own comments directly to the Forest of Dean consultation.

This meeting is about sharing information and helping people understand how they can respond to the consultation process.

We hope you’re able to join us.
