Planned Road Closure – advance notice

We have received advance notification from Worcestershire County Council of a Road Closure affecting the A449 – Wells Road, between Little Malvern and British Camp/Jubilee Drive turning.

This will be an extended closure in order to demolish and rebuild a collapsed retaining wall. The anticipated dates are 1st September – 30th January 2026.

Alternative route: Into Herefordshire, A438 Hollybush, B4208 Coombe Green, B4208 Castlemorton, B4208 Gloucester Rd, A4104 Marlbank Rd, A4104 Little Malvern and vice versa.
