Update on Speeding in Welland
Thank you to our excellent speedwatch volunteers who have been gathering helpful data for the police

Over recent months a dedicated group of trained volunteers have been carrying out regular Speedwatch sessions around Welland.
During these sessions, a significant number of vehicles were recorded travelling well above the speed limit. These results were fed back to the police and we are pleased that they are taking this matter seriously. As a direct result of the data gathered, over the coming months we can expect to see a greater police presence in Welland with mobile speed cameras.
This is excellent news. Speeding is a longstanding and frequently raised concern by residents to the parish council.
As always, we remind everybody to be mindful of their speed and drive safely.
