We need you – searching for more volunteers for our events committee
Welland events committee help to organise the annual Wassail and Summer Bash. Unfortunately a number of its members are taking a step back this year and we urgently need more volunteers to step up and help out. Could you help?

Welland events committee recently had it’s debrief meeting after our hugely successful Wassail in January. (Wasn’t it amazing?!)
The events committee are a group of volunteers who organise both the Summer Bash and the Wassail each year. We’re so grateful to them for their time and commitment – it’s clear from the attendance that these are cherished events in Welland life.
Unfortunately a number of people are taking a step back from the events committee this year, having helped for many years. Without new volunteers to replace them, there’s a risk that these annual events, and particularly next year’s Wassail, won’t be able to run.
If you think you could join the events committee please get in contact – we’d be so grateful!
In terms of time commitment, ad hoc meetings lasting an hour or so are held every few weeks in the lead up to the Bash and the Wassail, and organisational tasks are divided up between everybody on the committee so that nobody should find it unduly arduous.
