Presentation of the Welland Young Filmmakers project: “The 150”

You may remember us advertising a Young Filmmakers course that ran in the February half term earlier this year. A group of local 11-16yr olds got the chance to work with an award-winning film director and producer Nicola Prestage for three days to make their very own movie set in the heart of Welland. This was thanks to a successful application by the Parish Council for grant funding from Severn Arts.

The group wrote, edited and starred in their own film which turned out to be a spooky mystery called “The 150”, centred around St James church which turns 150 this year.

The film is being shown TONIGHT at 6pm at St James Church, Welland, before the Welland Community Cinema club evening film.
