Newsletter
Our newsletter is hand-delivered through your door to keep you up to date with everything going on in Welland.

Noticeboard
We maintain a noticeboard in the centre of Welland, next to the village store, where events and businesses can be advertised. By the side of the noticeboard is our green ‘parish postbox’, where you can drop us a note.

Whatsapp Channel
We have now launched a Parish Whatsapp Channel, as an alternative to our mailing list. We will be using this to keep followers up to date with news and events that are happening in Little Malvern and Welland.
A whatsapp channel is not the same as a group chat. You will only receive messages from the Parish Council. Your information is also private – nobody will be able to see your name or phone number.
Key information about whatsapp channels (from their website):
- You can find channels under the Updates tab in whatsapp (separate to ‘Chats’)
- Channels are a one-way broadcast rather than a conversation.
- Notifications are muted by default. If you want to turn these on, you can do this by pressing on the alarm bell icon in the channel.
- You can unfollow a channel at any time.
- People viewing a channel, even other followers, can’t see who else is following a channel, and your profile information and interactions with channel content (like emoji reactions or poll votes) aren’t visible to them. They can’t see your name, phone number, or profile picture.
- Channel admins may see your profile photo next to emoji reactions or poll votes, depending on your privacy settings. Admins can’t see your full phone number or profile name unless they have you saved as a contact.
